Rosalía has been named International Songwriter of the Year at The Ivors 2026. The prestigious award was given in recognition of “her outstanding creative impact and global influence as a songwriter.”
The honour celebrates her exceptional body of work, placing her alongside a renowned group of globally recognized creators acknowledged by The Ivors Academy. Rosalía will officially accept the award at the ceremony taking place on May 21 in London.
In addition to Rosalía, several other Sony Music artists and label partners have secured nominations:
- Wolf Alice: Nominated for Best Album for The Clearing, while Ellie Rowsell is shortlisted for Best Song Musically and Lyrically for ‘The Sofa’.
- Myles Smith: Nominated in the Most Performed Work category for ‘Stargazing’.
- Chrystal: Nominated for ‘The Days (Notion Remix)’.
- Chloe Qisha & Skye Newman: Both shortlisted in the Rising Star Award category.
- CMAT (AWAL): Nominated for Best Album for EURO-COUNTRY.
- Kwn (AWAL): Nominated for Rising Star.
This accolade precedes Rosalía’s highly anticipated return to London, where she is scheduled to play two sold-out shows at The O2 on May 5 and 6 as part of her LUX Tour 2026.
