Danish chart-topping artist D1MA has officially signed a deal with Warner Music Denmark, marking a significant milestone in his career as he looks to bring his music to a global audience. The signing aims to expand the international reach of his signature sound, which heavily fuses innovative melodic drill with traditional pop and electronic beats.
The artist first made waves in 2022 with his breakthrough hit “Drøm mig væk,” which peaked at number four on local charts and has since achieved 4x Platinum status. He maintained his immense momentum the following year with his debut album EV1GT&ALT1D, which hit number one in Denmark and went Double-Platinum. This was quickly followed by the 4x Platinum standalone single “I KNOW,” and a massive collaboration with Tobias Rahim titled “Bellevue,” which dominated the number one spot for nine consecutive weeks.
D1MA’s phenomenal success has continued into the current year with a string of Top 10 hits, including “PPC” at number four, “Blessed” at number seven, and “Spøgelse” at number ten. To date, he has amassed over 350 million streams, took home the Lyricist of the Year award at the Carl Prisen 2026, and headlined the renowned Roskilde Festival.
Executives at Warner Music are enthusiastic about the partnership, with Warner Music Denmark’s Managing Director Karen Vincent calling D1MA a “generational talent” who has redefined the sound of Danish pop and drill. Warner Music Nordics President Mark Fry echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the undeniable cross-border appeal of D1MA’s creative output and the label’s steadfast commitment to breaking his music into new international markets.
