Following their triumphant return to London’s BST Hyde Park yesterday (5 July), global music icons Duran Duran have announced a very special Halloween show at The O2, London on 31 October, as part of their 2026 UK arena tour.
Fans are encouraged to dress-up for a Halloween spectacular packed with twisted hits, unexpected deep cuts and rarely played treasures resurrected from the Duran Duran crypt.
Beyond the stage, fans can look forward to a spooky takeover at The O2 with Halloween-themed experiences across the venue. From frightful silent disco Up at The O2 climbs, to chilling cinema screenings and surprise Halloween performances, more details will be revealed soon.
Conjured from the band’s now legendary performance at the Wynn Theatre in Las Vegas in 2022, which spawned the acclaimed 2023 album Danse Macabre, the Danse Macabre Halloween Party has evolved into a uniquely theatrical live experience.
Continuing a creative partnership that began that same year on the set of the ‘Black Moonlight’ music video (the lead single from Danse Macabre), Duran Duran and Italian luxury perfume house Xerjoff will once again collaborate on this year’s festivities. What began as an artistic meeting of minds evolved into two intoxicating Xerjoff Blends, Black Moonlight and NeoRio. Since then, the partnership has developed through a shared focus on craftsmanship, beauty and sensory storytelling. This Halloween, Black Moonlight returns once more, bringing its bewitching spirit to The O2.
Now firmly established as a hugely anticipated annual tradition, the show arrives in London for the very first time following sold-out shows over the previous two years at Madison Square Garden in New York and Manchester’s Co-op Live.
The Danse Macabre Halloween Party sees Duran Duran’s iconic sound meet the unexpected for a night of atmosphere, spectacle and surprises, with fan favourites colliding with darker twists, cult classics and a few devilish turns along the way.
The London date at The O2 is the finale to the band’s UK arena tour 2026 – their first full run in the UK for three years – which begins at the Glasgow OVO Hydro on 15 October before landing in Belfast at the SSE Arena on 18 October, Birmingham’s Utilita Arena on 20 October, Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena on 23 October and Leeds’ First Direct Bank Arena on 24 October. The UK tour will be part of a wider autumn run that includes European shows in Oslo, Stockholm, Hamburg, Cologne, Brussels, Paris, and Lisbon.
Since its release in April, Duran Duran’s latest single ‘Free To Love’ has quickly become one of the band’s biggest and most celebrated new releases. The song reunited the band with longtime collaborator Nile Rodgers for an uplifting, high-energy anthem built for the dancefloor, blending the band’s signature sophistication with an electrifying modern edge.
The single landed on 21 Spotify New Music Friday playlists globally and was named BBC Radio 2’s Record of the Week, going on to become the station’s most-played track during its first week of release. The song generated widespread international media coverage, while also being featured across major UK television programmes including Good Morning Britain, Sunday Brunch, ITV National News and ITV News at Ten.
The ‘Free To Love’ remix album (Free to Love Hot Star Remixes) extends the celebrations surrounding Duran Duran’s latest anthem. Trixie Matel, Harrison, BastienkHz, Horse Meat Disco, ALISSIA, Biff Chitlins and DJ White Shadow have all made ‘Free To Love’ club ready for summer 2026, each remixing the track with their signature sound.
Special guests for all of the UK dates except London will be Pigeon, a psychedelic five-piece rooted in the English seaside town of Margate, yet making music that transcends borders. Their debut album, OUTTANATIONAL is a thrilling collection of party songs without limits.
