Following two SOLD OUT London dates earlier this year for his ‘Born To Do It 25th Anniversary’ performances, UK pop/garage icon, Craig David, today announces he’ll be bringing two additional shows to Birmingham and Brighton next May, as part of his European tour; allowing more fans to celebrate the phenomenal chart topping debut album, ‘Born To Do It’. The ground-breaking album, that remained in the charts for over 70 weeks back in 2000, will now be brought back to life when Craig David performs the full ‘Born To Do It’ song-list (and more), at the Brighton Centre and Birmingham’s Utilita Arena next May, 2027.
Craig David comments, ‘26 years ago ‘Born to Do It’ changed my life! My 2 shows at London’s Hammersmith Apollo earlier this year were such an incredible vibe and they meant so much to me. To play the album front to back with my band for the first time, brought back so many amazing memories and because of that I’ve decided to take this show around the world to my wonderful fans and am excited to announce 2 UK shows in Brighton and Birmingham. I can’t wait to see you there!’
Selling over 15 million records worldwide as a solo artist, nominated for fourteen Brit Awards Brit Awards: five times for Best British Male, and twice receiving a Grammy Award nomination for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, Craig David is one of Britain’s biggest solo male music artists, with x20 UK Top 40 Singles and x7 UK Top 40 Albums. Renowned for his slick, distinctive vocal style and dynamic on-stage charisma, Craig David live shows are always eagerly anticipated by fans.
But no live performance has ever been so close to Craig’s heart as he throws his own very special celebration of his debut album. In his third decade of wowing the world with his crisp vibes and pioneering sounds, Craig David live is an experience that’s slicker and fresher than ever, and nothing short of euphoric. Be part of this once-in-a-lifetime celebration!
